CDI Time!

This year's Carson was a sweet throwback to the days of hand digging and DIY-itness. Big thanks out to DJ Cmac for birthing, nurturing and growing the CDI into a rad get-together of friends and random shred fellas. Cory, as some of you know already, had to put the jam on early this year in order to take over the reigns at High Cascade Snowboard Camp for the summer. I'm sure he has already whipped up all kinds of wickedness on Mt. Hood. Congrats out to Cory, you got the juice now.

I don't know who "won" but I'll go ahead and call it, Parker "Goldenchild" Duke 1st place for his sweet jib-drop-450's, 2nd goes to Ben McGill for his guinea pig front 7, and 3rd place to Martin Cambell for his sweet mountain man beard, have fun in Chile brotha!

Skate Jam '08

Although it may not seem like it, with these crazy thunderstorms hitting Boise lately, summer is fast approaching.

In celebration of the impending heat and summertime shenanigans, we'll be throwing a little skate jam/BBQ down at Rhoades Skate Park underneath the connector on May 31st at 6PM. Two dollars gets you into the contest and the chance to win prizes and high fives from the newts crew.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend and what could be a more perfect way of showing your appreciation for mother nature than going down to the Idaho Green Expo to learn how you can save her?

This Saturday and Sunday at the Boise Centre on the Grove, hundreds of businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and concerned individuals are joining together to provide our community with the knowledge and tools to reduce our impact on the environment. Not only that, but the expo will include a raffle to raise funds for the "Greening the Grove" project, a fashion show hosted by Foxtrot Style for Living, a short-film festival, an Eco-Kids exhibit, and a "Greening the Grove" concert to add some fun to all the knowledge and information you'll get out of this great event. Best of all, its FREE! Even the bicycle valet. That's right...Bike Valet.
